A Visitor from Mexico

Duck class were so lucky to have a visit from Andres last week! Andres is one of the children's Godfather and is originally from Mexico. He came in to talk to Duck class, showing us lots of interesting photos and telling us all about life in Mexico. The children listened so well and asked some fantastic questions. It was so interesting to learn more about another country. Andres told us about how children in Mexico celebrate their birthdays with a pinata and then we all got to have a turn hitting a pinata! The children were so excited and very enthusiastic with their hits! We had so much fun and were eventually rewarded with the sweets falling out onto the ground. Some of the children were later inspired to work together to make their own pinata in the creative area. We are so thankful to Andres for coming in to visit us!
