Amazing Africa - The Big 5 Collage in Y1

We have loved starting our new topic 'Amazing Africa' in Y1. The children decided they were very interested in finding out about African animals so we have begun our topic by finding out about, 'The Big 5.'

The children have made collages in their animal group and have looked in atlasses to fuind out where the animals live. They have found out about the history of the name, The Big 5 and have written some facts about their favourite animal.
