Amazing art in Y5

Y5 are an incredibly talented group of artists! Over the past couple of weeks they have worked really hard on a number of very varied art projects, and the results speak for themselves.

They looked at some images of iconic black people who have made history and changed lives, and portrayed them simply and effectively with stunning results.

They also studied inuit artist Kenojuak Ashevak, and chose a specific part of three of her paintings, using a view finder. They then intricately recreated these parts in watercolours, with spectacular results.
