Another Oakes afternoon... mud and more!

After another delicious lunch (incidentally breakfast was outstanding too!) we had another busy activity. Those of us who hadn't got muddy enough this morning or yesterday had a go at the mudder and the ropes. Miss Gold was spectacular on the mudder, and even slid down the slide into the pond! Meanwhile Mrs Birch was sliding off the rope-bridge into the river! The archers hit a lot of targets, the mudders were super brave and super muddy (well done to Ruby for helping Miss Gold through the course) and the ropers were climbing, swinging, balancing and zip-wiring their way through the mud! Our footballers changed tactics and kicked footballs around a giant golf course, and a few car enthusiasts had a play with the remote controlled cars. Another shower and hot chocolate later, and we were playing back outside with Buzz Lightyear. We've had a fabulous tea, a fascinating Main Event featuring songs, games, and group chats, and are now getting ready for our camp fire. We have no doubt that we'll all sleep well tonight (and tomorrow night too!)
