Carnival of the Animals and Autumn Term Singing

We have had a great start to our musical year. All of our junior classes have been working on a Saint Saens project. We have listened to, researched and drawn / written our ideas, and then used them to start our own compositions. In Y3 we have learnt how to write our rhythms using 'frog', 'monkey' and 'alligator', in Y4 we have made up own little rhythmic phrases, and in Y5 we have started adding melodies on our instruments. 

They ahev all worked amazingly! We've also enjoed singing our silly (and not so silly) songs. It's a pleasure to spend a morning with this talented group of musicians.
