Chinese New Year in Reception!

As part of our RE topic we thought about how people from other cultures celebrate. We celebrated Chinese New Year in Reception. We had a visit from one of our parents who celebrates Chinese New Year. She brought lots of things to show us including decorations, sweets and important items that people share. She told us many things about Chinese New Year and Haoming sang a Chinese New Year song for us.    

We then did lots of activities in Reception including eating Chinese noodles, Chinese New Year activities and Chinese dragon dancing!   We have a display in Reception of some of the things we did.
