Duckling Diaries: Day 4

The children had a very lovely surprise when they arrived at school today, all five ducklings had hatched! The incubator was a sea of yellow fluff with the ducklings huddled together so it was time to move them to the brooding box. The ducklings have enjoyed exploring their new home and have been giving us lots of cheeps throughout the day. The children have been very excited watching them and it's been a very busy area of our classroom today! Our five ducklings are called Moustache, Rosie, Chocolate Chip, Fluffy and Bubblegum - we are looking forward to getting to know them better over the next week!
