Exploring the Local Area

We have really enjoyed learning about other countries around the world this half term, but today we decided to focus on our own local area! With the lovely sunny weather we have been having, we headed out for a walk around our community to see what we could find. The children spotted lots of different shops and amenities and remembered lots about our learning on people who help us. The children were so sensible and well behaved on our walk, all of the staff were so proud of them! This afternoon, we made maps to show where we had been, the children did a great job! Next week we will be comparing some of the photos we took to other places we have been learning about this half term.
