Fairy Tales

In Y2 we have been amazing today! We sat our first reading SATs paper this morning, and were super amazing detectives, looking for clues in the story to help us answer the tricky questions.

This afternoon we have been outside. We are being awesome authors and writing our own fairy tales. There are elves, giants, mermaids, witches, goblins and even a nasty piece of work called 'Clunky Death' in our stories. We have been working super hard on story openers, settings and character descriptions, and today our characters have started going on their adventures! We are going to turn our stories into books for you over the course of this week and next!

Having the outdoor space is a real privilege and we have used it to start some craft bits for our fairy tale display, we have made the 3 little pigs houses, the castle and even begun a beanstalk.
