Day 2: First Cracks

After the children had left school, Mrs Hamblin heard a lot of tapping and spotted the first cracks in two of our eggs! This is called pipping. If you listen carefully on the video you can hear the chicks tapping the shell with their egg tooth (the sharp part of their beak). We may have our first chicks when the children arrive tomorrow!
