Home grown tomatoes from our eco greenhouse!

It was a very special day today as we harvested our first crop of tomatoes on the first day of Autumn! We saved our plastic bottles for years and years until finally we had enough to create our eco greenhouse. Mr Burton put in a lot of work building the greenhouse during the start of lockdown, and planted some seeds. After a lot of watering and looking after, we now have a crop of shiny, red tomatoes. After picking and washing them, we tasted them and I can confirm that they were delicious! Even Bolt our tortoise enjoyed a nibble!
