Literacy and Numeracy Challenges - Y2

Since we've been back at school we have been super busy getting to grips with the new maths and writing challenges in Y2! As you can see, we've been amazing. We're learnt how to 'look, cover, write and check' our tricky words. We have been researching all about animals and habtits on the ipads. We have enjoyed maths challenges using place value, addition and even arrays (repeated addition to find multiplications). I am very very proud of the way the children have started to be 'Y2 independent' and support one another, as well as challenging themselves. What a fantastic start to Sept they have all had.
