Measuring from massive... to miniscule!

Welcome back to Y4! We're happy to be back and loving our outdoor maths! We went out in the sunshine and measured all sorts of mammals - from mice to cows, giraffes, and elephants... and even a blue whale! We used measuring sticks and chalk, and had a go at using a trundle wheel too. Next, we used a piece of string to measure 29 metres which is the length of a blue whale. We learnt that a blue whale will only just fit in our part of the playground!
