Moomins

The children in Y2 have been making their own Moomins out of clay today. Moomins were created by the Finnish author and artist Tove Jansson and are a family of white, roundish trolls with large snouts. They live in the idyllic and peaceful Moominvalley in harmony with nature. The children then scanned their models onto an iPad to create a 3D computerised version of their Moomin. In a few weeks time, they will use these to place their Moomin in a Moominvalley of their own!
