Our amazing open day at the new site with a very special visitor!

Date: 7th Feb 2019 @ 12:45pm

We've had a wonderful day at our beautiful and spacious new site! It was especially exciting because we had some very important visitors! In particular, Bishop Pete had a tour of the school and blessed many of our lovely rooms - he also blessed the playground and Mrs Preston! We also had a visit from Mrs Hewson who talked to us about and demonstrated toys of the past for our topic. Then we went back to our classroom for challenge time, and this time we had a go at playing some old traditional games ourselves! There was bagatelle, tiddly winks, snakes and ladders, and all sorts of traditional spinning and catching games.

We were very lucky to be joined for a delicious roast lunch by Bishop Pete, who then led a very special service for all of us, including many parents. The service was led by Bishop Pete as well as Imogen Clout and Gareth from St Andrews Psalter Lane, and Reverend Beth Keith and Rosie from All Saints. It was a wonderful and inspirational service. A huge 'Thank you' to everyone who made it possible.
