Our Ash Wednesday Service at St Andrews Psalter Lane Church

We started to celebrate lent as a whole school this afternoon, as YR, Y1, Y2 and Y3 met up in church this afternoon to think about Easter at our Ash Wednesday Service. We learnt a new song and, we taught Imogen our new prayer. At the end, Imogen marked our foreheads with ash made from the burnt palm crosses from last year's Palm Sunday.
