Over 100 at Family Assembly and Governor's Coffee Morning!

Over 100 parents, carers, siblings, grandparents, aunties, uncles....oh...and governors came to Family Assembly yesterday. We saw the fabulous work the children had done throughout their Maths High Focus Week. We also were treated to a Q&A with local author Jan Hedge who helped one of our parents, Jude Jones give out World Book Day Sponsored Read Certificates.

I loved the questions asked (bearing in mind these are from children aged 4-7) which ranged from, 'Why did you want to be a writer?' to my favourite from Henry in Y1, 'What is the moral of your story?'

I really enjoyed our informal chats with parents and carers after assembly - thank you to all governors who gave up their time to be there. If you're a parent or carer reading this - you can always catch me in the yard or leave me a message in the office if you need a chat before the next Governors' Coffee Morning.
