Peak Adventure Day 3

Today we have been to the Chestnut Centre! We set off to the coach at 9:30 and walked down the lane. After a short coach journey we arrived. On our walk around the centre we saw lots of different animals - otters, owls and deer. We also talked about badgers and foxes (that were all sleeping as it was daytime). We discussed what it meant for us to adopt an animal... one child said "I want to adopt a deer because I have enough space in my garden for it to stay." Another, "how long will the animal come home with us for?" After we all knew that it wasn't an animal that was going to come home with us we decided to adopt a Polecat. The centre will soon send us its name and more details to share with you! 
On the way back to the centre we stopped off at Peter's fudge shop and we were lucky enough to get lots of samples - yummy!

We are now settling down for dinner before a midnight walk (and chips!!!)
