Pirate and Mermaid Day

Duck class was taken over by pirates and mermaids today! We had a fun-filled day of pirate songs and mermaid stories, making pirate hats and telescopes... and walking the plank! As part of our learning about the sea, we learnt about what we might find in a rock pool. The children then created their own rock pool and enjoyed splashing about in it! We finished off with a special treat as Duck class got their 20 golden moments this week. As a class, the children decided that they would like ice pops and time to play in the garden. It was the perfect end to the day!
