The Wright Brothers - Gliders and Planes

We've had a great afternoon today. We learnt all about the Wright Brothers and their first flights, how they developed their glider and managed to power it. We watched the video of these incredible inventors making their first flights, and how they inspired others. Here are a few of our models. Our 'Bright Sparks' display is now full of our transport creations - from parachutes to gliders, cup copters to planes.
