Welcome back Y5!

We're so happy to be back in school and have settled in really well. There's lots of new rules and procedures but we're getting used to it, and are having fun! This term we are reading 'Who Let the Gods Out?' by Maz Evans, which has sparked an interest in Ancient Greece. We thought about what the characters Virgo and Elliot would be thinking about as they were brought together at Stonehenge. We also learnt about the Greek Gods and Goddesses, and created some Top Trump style cards.

We did some amazingly detailed artwork designing a Greek urn, and we have written a timeline of Ancient Greek History. We even had time to learn about Greece's geography, and fit in a dance session with Lizzy!
