World Book Day

We had an exciting day on World Book Day and came dressed as our favourite characters! During our literacy lesson we read a book called 'The Day the Crayons Quit'. We really enjoyed this and created persuasive posters about our favourite crayon with a superpower! We also played some maths games linked to the story. 

During the afternoon, we were visited by different teachers around the school and participated in activities related to each story. Our favourite one was with Miss Hamblin. It was the story of the Rainbow Fish. We then designed our own fish using a range of different materials!

We had a lovely day and are pushing ourselves to read more at home.
