World Ocean Day

Last week we celebrated World Ocean Day which involved some live talks with ecologists and marine biologists. We learnt about some of the environmental issues in our seas such as pollution, plastic waste, and over-fishing. We went outside and created the world in chalk, and marked on the continents and the main oceans. We also created our own sea right outside our classroom!
