Y1 & Y2 Botanical Gardens Trip

Y1 and Y2 took a very exciting trip to the new classroom at the Botanical Gardens this week. We started the morning by exploring spots where magical creatures might live. We then collected twigs, petals that had fallen to the ground and any other exciting bits and bobs to build our own magical creature houses. The different photos show the fantastic work from the children. We had a fairy island, fairy beds and even fairy swimming pools! In the afternoon we made a story in a matchbox...where we had to decorate a tiny box and then choose different items from particular fairy tales to put inside. We had lots of fun working together and exploring!
