Y1's trip to Longshaw

We had an amazingly busy day today! We set off for the bus bright and early, and arrived at Longshaw ready for some Christmas crafts. We made pine-cone Christmas trees, a tesselating triangle card, wooden tree decorations, a cut-out hand to make some antlers or a tree, and a bird feeder made of sultanas and cheerios! What lucky birds! Then we explored the nursery to find a tree the same size as us, and came back for a quick lunch. Then we were off out again for more exploring and games and a lot of fun! We barely had time to choose our school tree!
