Y2 Victorian Day

Today we had a very special day in Y2. We were Victorians for the day.

This morning Sir Woolley (of the Victorian Board School in Beamish) taught us for an hour. He was very strict. We had to sit up straight and recite our arithmetic very fast! 

We learnt the 3 Rs (Reading, Writing and Arithmetic), had Victorian playground games and practised our poetry reciting. This afternoon we painted some Victorian arts and made peg dolls. 

We even washed all the Victorian linen! It's been a faulous day.
