Y4's science investigation - how sound travels

We had lots of fun investigating how sound vibrations travel through different mediums. We tested the different sounds made by a glockenspiel, and then made our own telephones with two cups and some string. The string needs to be really tight, but when it is, it's  amazing how well it works! We played Simon Says with our partners, sending them instructions by telephone!
