Year 2 Autumn half term holiday work

The children have worked so hard these last eight weeks and they are due a good half term break. In case they get a little bored with all that free time, we have put together a pack of holiday homework activities for them to complete with you. It would be great if the children could visit a library during the half term to reinforce their love of reading.

The activities include a cooking idea as our next topic is ‘Food, Glorious Food’. There are lots of mathematical concepts in cooking: measuring, counting and timing. If you are able to include your child in cooking during half term it would help their school maths as well. We would love to see photos of the products being tasted!

Finally, thank you for your support since September. We look forward to teaching your child again in November.
