Chinese New Year in Reception!

Happy Chinese New Year!

During Chinese New Year people say "Xin nian hao", which sounds like "shin nee-an how".

We had a fantastic day celebrating Chinese New year in Reception. We had different activiites to choose from such as making paper chain dragons, chinese lanterns and dragon masks.We also had noodles! We ate them with chopsticks which was very tricky! We looked at how people celebrate Chinese New Year and watched some fireworks! We finished by doing our own dragon dancing!
