Covid 19 Key Information

We will be posting any relevant information on here as well as sending out emails.

For your information, the legal requirement to isolate if your child tests positive for Covid has been removed. However, the current guidance brought into effect from Friday 1st April 2022, still recommends that if a Child under 18 years of age tests positive they should remain at home for 3 days. This starts from the day after the first positive test.

The day of a positive test result is day 0, children are still required to remain at home for 3 days after the initial test day:

Day 0: First Positive Test Day

Day 1: Isolating

Day 2: Isolating

Day 3 Isolating

Day 4: Can return to school if well enough

We have a school risk assessment in place which is in line with Sheffield City Council's guidance. Risk assessments change frequently and will be uploaded when new ones are released. The latest risk assessment is attached to the bottom of this page.

Support for Parents during COVID from Sheffield’s Parenting team

Isolation, working at home, and home schooling, are all additional pressures on parents, and we know being a parent can have its challenges.  So, we have developed and gathered below a range of online materials and useful videos for parents and carers to support them in their parenting role.  These are all based on the evidence based parenting programmes that we use in Sheffield.
