What you need to bring
Every child will need a PE kit, water bottle and spares to be kept in school. A snack box should be brought in each day in a clearly labelled box or bag. Book bags should come in each day. Please read with your child at home as often as you can. Their book bag contains:
- a reading scheme book
- any words / phonics sounds they are practicing
- a reading journal
- spelling log book
- a book they are sharing with you, or reading for pleasure (your child has chosen this book.) It might be they have a series or book they are enjoying at home, they are most welcome to pop that one in if they prefer.
Please make sure your child has a warm coat in school every day, and a warm jumper on. Classroom windows will be open for ventilation (10 mins per hour), and we will spend a lot of time outside.
Other Key Info
Outdoor PE is on Wednesday and Friday. Singing and music with Mrs Atkinson will be on a Tuesday.
New phonics and spellings patterns, as well as homework, will be shared. Any other correspondance or paperwork will come via email from the office.
