School Day

The school day begins with the gates opening at 8:35 for an 8:40 start. Our school day finishes at 3:25.

Requirements:

Children need a P.E. kit in school every day, water bottle and pencil case. A snack box should be brought in each day in a clearly labelled box or bag. Currently, no other items can be brought on to the site. If your child has something to share with the class or has had a birthday, please send photos and videos via the school enquires email address so we can share them in school. We love to see them!  

Currently our classroom windows are always open for ventilation and we have frequent breaks outside in the fresh air, please make sure your child has a waterproof/warm coat and outdoor shoes with them every day.

Extra Information

Homework continues to be given weekly, issued on a Friday and handed in the following Wednesday via Google Classroom. Spellings are tested on a Friday morning and new spellings/sentence homework is uploaded to Google Classroom each week. Children all have a home reading record and reading scheme book which should be changed weekly, returned on a Wednesday to give time for it to be safely sent home on Friday.

- All children have access to their own Google Classroom accounts for virtual learning, Active Learn logins, My Maths and Times Table Rockstars accounts.

- PE: Tuesday morning dance with Miss Lizze and RuggerEds on Thursday AM. Yoga and other sessions occur regularly through the year.
