Getting creative in Y3

We're really enjoying our design and technology project this half term. We've been learning about Mount Everest and the Himalayas, so we're designing a bag we could take with us on our expedition. It has to be lightweight, and keep our money and important possessions safe. After looking at different bags, we each came up with three designs. We then chose one, and made a proto-type from paper. This week we have been practising our sewing - have a look at the photos - we are very talented! Next week we'll put our practice to good use when we actually create our own bags!
