Fascinating Flamborough with the Fantastic Y6's

Date: 19th Jul 2023 @ 9:01am

We had an amazing day in Flamborough yesterday, exploring the fascinating coastline and discovering some interesting creatures. We walked along the coastal path, down to the rocky beach, where we found an abundance of rockpools, and searched for their inhabitants. We also investigated the amazing coves around the beach, and checked out the caves and stacks. After lunch on the beach in the sunshine, we headed back up to the peninsula, where we looked down on the rock formation known as the 'Drinking Dinosaur', and had a go at sketching it. We also saw a variety of sea birds, and spotted some seals bobbing around in the sea. We escaped the rain for most of the day, and luckily got back to the coach just as it was starting. It was a long journey home but an amazing day.
