Woodland fun with Y5

We had a fabulous day today with the Y5's in Ecclesall Woods. Sarah, from The Woodland Trust, taught us to light fires using only cotton wool and a flint and steel striker, how to build a den (and test how water-proof it is!), and to do Hapa Zome (Japanese leaf prints). We also created some wonderful works of art, and a variety of mischievous bogarts - look out for them on the trees next time you're near the saw mill!
