Y1's Fountains Walk

We had a fascinating morning exploring Sheffield's fountains and their meanings. Despite the weather being a little unkind, we went ahead and dodged the rain! We visited a variety of fountains which cleverly represent the seven hills and the five rivers of Sheffield. We saw beautiful colours, amazing representations of our local rivers, and we even saw some ducks having fun! Some of the fountains are shiny and we had a look at our refelctions too. We managed to avoid getting squirted in the Peace Gardens, and made our way back to our warm cosy school in time for lunch. We're really looking forward to doing some amazing artwork around these fountains next week!
