Y1's Wonderful Woodland Walk

Today in Y1 we had a beautiful sunny morning for our amazing woodland walk through Endcliffe Park. we were looking at and collecting signs of Autumn. First we stopped at the statue of Queen Victoria, then we followed the River Porter and started looking for Autumn leaves and seeds. We saw squirrels, spiders, a ladybird and a frog too! Next we walked further along the river and stopped at the Mi Amigo memorial where the American plane crashed over 75 years ago. We were so excited to meet Tony Foulds who was a little boy in the park all those years ago on that tragic day.
