Y4 Residential to Thornbridge

We had the most amazing time on our residential trip to Thornbridge. We were completely blessed with the weather (not so much the pollen count!). The children took part in so many activities, weaseling ,orienteering, low ropes,map reading,the Thornbridge challenge and one of the trickiest tasks putting a fitted sheet on their beds!

One of the highlights of our visits was definitely Ms Wood's fantastic campfire skills,we toasted marshmallows and sang funny songs and we were lucky enough to get a visit from our very own Head teacher Mrs Rowland!

On the final day we went on a beautiful walk of the local area and saw the amazing views in the Peak District. We stopped for cold lemonade and sweeties to keep us going. The children showed their Clifford values, perseverance, kindness, action and so so much teamwork the whole time .We are so proud of their super behaviour and for their big smiles from beginning to end. The children and staff were definitely ready for an early night and lots of soap! We made so many happy memories that we will remember for a very long time.
