Y4 visit to Kelham Island Industrial Museum

Yesterday, Y4 enjoyed learning about The Industrial Revolution and Sheffield Steel. We were able to explore artefacts, participate in role play and observe the biggest steam engine in the world, in action.

Our guide, Chris, was super knowledgeable and gave us many facts about Sheffield, such as, in the 1700 - 1800's 90% of the worlds cutlery was produced in Sheffield.
