Y5's visit to Infants for the Archbishop of York's Young Leaders Award Scheme

We're SO proud of our fabulous Y5's! Over the past few weeks they have been working on their Young Leaders Award, which is a scheme encouraging young people to have the power to change the world. One of their tasks was to work with the local community and inspire others around them. They decided to visit the Y2 class, and came up with a carousel of activities. Each group came up with an activity which they planned and carried out this afternoon. They realised that organising these things is hard work, requires patience, and that they had to think of the other children before themselves. But they stepped up, did some great organisation, and made the Y2's feel welcome, safe and excited about joining us in September. Congratulations Y5, and welcome to juniors to the Y2's!
